Prior to 26.1.11 and 26.4.1p1, authenticated Web UI or API users with delegated access to affected settings can submit CR or LF characters in fields expected to contain one line, causing generated privileged service configuration files to contain additional attacker-controlled directives or policy lines. The confirmed Dnsmasq path includes dhcp_boot.filename, dhcp_boot.servername, dhcp_boot.address, and dhcp_options.value, which are rendered into /usr/local/etc/dnsmasq.conf; access through page-services-dnsforwarder covers api/dnsmasq/*. Related affected fields span OpenVPN, DHCPv6, Unbound, IPsec, NTP, PPP or MPD, Monit, firewall, sudo, WebGUI, and System General configuration. Applying or restarting the affected service can alter behavior beyond the delegated setting, create service-side files, cross RBAC boundaries, or cause denial of service. Line injection through Monit mail password and adjacent Monit text fields into /usr/local/etc/monitrc demonstrated root command execution. Arbitrary shell command execution was not confirmed for the Dnsmasq path. The controller registers an HTTP file server on port 8084 with no authentication. The custom imageFileSystem implementation exposes a browsable HTML directory listing of all registered images at the root path. The only access control on per-host images is the random UUID filename; the directory listing discloses those UUIDs to any caller on the provisioning network. Each served image embeds an Ignition config containing the base64-encoded cluster pull secret, optional IRONIC_RAMDISK_SSH_KEY, proxy settings, and per-host NetworkManager keyfiles. An adjacent network attacker can enumerate all image UUIDs via directory listing, download any image, extract the embedded Ignition config, and recover the cluster pull secret and SSH key. ### Evidence **pkg/imagehandler/imagefilesystem.go — root directory is browsable and enumerates all UUID image names** ```go func (f *imageFileSystem) Readdir(n int) ([]fs.FileInfo, error) { f.mu.Lock() defer f.mu.Unlock() result := []fs.FileInfo{} for _, im := range f.images { result = append(result, im) } return result, nil } func (f *imageFileSystem) Open(name string) (http.File, error) { f.log.Info("Open", "path", name) if name == "/" { return f, nil } ... ``` **cmd/controller/main.go — file server bound on all interfaces without auth or TLS** ```go http.Handle("/", http.FileServer(imageServer.FileSystem())) go func() { server := &http.Server{ Addr: imagesBindAddr, // default ":8084" ReadHeaderTimeout: 5 * time.Second, } err := server.ListenAndServe() ``` **pkg/ignition/service_config.go:94-100 — pull secret is embedded in every served image** ```go func (b *ignitionBuilder) authFile() ignition_config_types_32.File { source := "data:;base64," + strings.TrimSpace(b.ironicAgentPullSecret) return ignition_config_types_32.File{ Node: ignition_config_types_32.Node{Path: "/etc/authfile.json"}, ... ``` ### Attack Pattern Adjacent provisio…

CVE-2026-63197: traQ: XSS in the User Uploaded File Retrieval API

traQ is a messenger application built for Digital Creators Club traP. More than 65,535 hosts wrap the counter, causing process_arguments() to allocate an undersized hosts array and then write subsequent entries out of bounds before main() calls setuid(getuid()). On installations where check_icmp is setuid root, a local low-privileged attacker can corrupt heap memory while the process still has root privileges; reliable privilege escalation has not been demonstrated. Installations that use cap_net_raw file capabilities instead of setuid are not exposed to the privilege-escalation consequence. A payload built from the `.constructor.constructor` chain compiles, without modification, to a live `Function` invocation in the emitted JavaScript, escaping any sandbox assumption around "Elo is a safe data/DSL language." ### Vulnerable sink and root cause Three interacting sites in `src/` produce the bug at commit `749af7b`: 1. **`src/transform.ts:144–158`** — the `member_access` handler allows access on types `any`, `object`, or `array` without filtering the property name. This is the only place an integrator could have plugged a denylist. 2. **`src/compilers/javascript.ts:210`** — the JS emitter writes `${objectExpr}.${ir.property}` verbatim into the output, so any property name that survives the transform step flows unescaped into emitted JavaScript. 3. **`src/parser.ts:163–170, 748–750`** — the parser accepts `constructor` (and other JS meta-property names) as an ordinary identifier, so `.constructor` clears type-checking without triggering any warning. Combined, the Elo expression `({}).constructor.constructor('…')()` compiles to a live `Function('…')()` call in the emitted JS, executing in the realm of whichever sink runs the compiled code. ### Attack surfaces All three surfaces share the same root cause (no denylist in `transform.ts`) and are addressed by the same one-file patch: | # | Entry point | Threat model | |---|---|---| | 1 | Browser playground — `https://elo-lang.org/try/?code=…&run=1` | **0-click XSS / account takeover** against elo-lang.org. `?run=1` triggers `setTimeout(() => this.run(), 100)` in `playground_controller.ts:531`; the server issues a 301 that preserves `?code=`. Any shared URL that contains a payload compromises the visitor's session on elo-lang.org. | | 2 | `bin/el…

CVE-2026-44266: Elo Ruby backend has Remote Code Execution via unescaped `#{...}` interpolation in emitted string literals and subtype-constraint labels

### Summary Elo's Ruby backend emits attacker-controlled text into Ruby double-quoted strings without escaping the `#` character. Because `#` begins Ruby's interpolation sequences — `#{expr}`, `#@ivar`, `#@@cvar`, `#$gvar` — and any expression wrapped in `#{...}` may use backticks for shell execution, an Elo program that contains a crafted string literal or a labelled subtype constraint compiles to Ruby that evaluates attacker-chosen Ruby, and through backticks runs attacker-chosen shell commands, at runtime. The same Elo source compiled to JavaScript, Python, or SQL is benign, so the bug also breaks the cross-target portability guarantee the rest of the compiler honours. ### Vulnerable sinks Two sinks exist in `src/compilers/ruby.ts` at commit `749af7b`: 1. **String-literal emitter — lines 180–184.** The emitter escapes backslash, double quote, and control characters, but not `#`. Any `#{...}` sequence in an Elo string literal flows straight into the emitted Ruby source. 2. **Labelled subtype-constraint branch — lines 405–412.** The error message passed to `p_fail(p, "...")` is wrapped in a Ruby double-quoted string with no escape pass at all. Because the parser at `src/parser.ts:1339–1348` accepts single-quoted Elo strings as constraint labels, a label such as `'#{` `` `id` `` `}'` flows unchanged into the emitted Ruby. ### Attack surfaces All three surfaces share the same root cause (the missing `#` escape in the Ruby double-quoted-string emission path) and are addressed by the same patch: | # | Entry point | Threat model | |---|---|---| | 1 | `/try` playground on elo-lang.org (Ruby target) | 0-click server-side RCE against elo-lang.org infrastructure from a shared PoC URL | | 2 | `bin/eloc -t ruby -x` on a CI or DevOps host | RCE on any host that passes Elo strings through the CLI | | 3 | Library API — `defaultFormats.elo.parse()` with a Ruby emission step | Ruby RCE for any downstream integrator using Elo as a rule engine, configuration DSL, or form builder DS…

CVE-2026-44265: Elo: Code injection in Elo backends via unvalidated emission of programmatic AST fields

Elo is a purely functional expression language for no-code tools. Prior to 1.0.1, Elo's programmatic AST API accepts arbitrary values from JSON-deserialized input, plugin output, or other untyped sources and interpolates them into generated JavaScript, Ruby, Python, or SQL without runtime syntax validation. The affected fields are int_literal / float_literal .value, variable.name, member_access.property, object_literal keys, datapath segments, lambda.params[].name, and the SQL let binding name. A specially crafted collection name can bypass special-collection guards and operator namespace filters, causing a restore to create an unauthorized user-chosen database account, including an account with the root role. The controller driver stores that raw pointer in its filter table and dereferences it from the RX path every time a matching frame arrives. The system call verifier z_vrfy_can_add_rx_filter_msgq() in drivers/can/can_handlers.c validated the queue only with K_SYSCALL_OBJ(), which is a point-in-time check of type, initialization and caller permission and says nothing about the object's lifetime. On a build with CONFIG_USERSPACE=y and CONFIG_DYNAMIC_OBJECTS=y, an unprivileged user-mode thread that has been granted access to a CAN device can obtain a message queue whose lifetime it fully controls: k_object_alloc(K_OBJ_MSGQ) followed by k_msgq_alloc_init(). The lifetime of such an object is driven solely by its permission bitmask, and a pointer retained by the kernel is not represented there. After registering the filter, the thread calls k_object_release() — or simply terminates — and unref_check() frees the struct k_msgq storage while the CAN driver still holds the pointer. The next matching CAN frame causes k_msgq_put() to run in supervisor context against freed memory that the attacker can have groomed with another kernel allocation: the frame payload is memcpy()d through the reused block's write_ptr, and the queue's wait_q (and poll_events under CONFIG_POLL) list nodes are manipulated. This yields kernel-heap corruption reachable from a user-mode thread, defeating the isolation CONFIG_USERSPACE is intended to provide; the same dangling pointer also arises benignly when an application thread exits without calling can_remove_rx_filter(). The fix validates the queue with K_SYSCALL_OBJ_STATIC(), which additionally rejects objects carrying K_OBJ_FLAG_ALLOC, so only statically defined queues (CAN_MSGQ_DEFINE()) may be registered from user mode. Supervisor-mode callers bypass the verifier and mus…

CVE-2026-120572: Incorrect boundary conditions in the Layout: Block and Inline component

Incorrect boundary conditions in the Layout: Block and Inline component. This may result in unintended disclosure of other users' records, incorrect operation results being returned, and failures of legitimate requests.

CVE-2026-121506: Out-of-bounds Write in NTPsec

An out-of-bounds read and write in NTS client extension field parsing (extens_client_recv) in NTPsec before 1.2.5 allows a remote attacker who can send NTP server-mode replies to an NTS client to corrupt heap memory and crash ntpd, and, combined with the NTS-KE client out-of-bounds read fixed in 1.2.4, to bypass NTS authentication and set the client's time, via an NTS Authenticator and Encrypted Extension Fields field whose nonce length exceeds the field.

CVE-2026-119742: Nagios XI < 2026R2 OS Command Injection via mibs.php

Nagios XI before 2026R2 contains an OS command injection vulnerability in the MIB upload feature where the install_mib() function in mibs.php sanitizes uploaded filenames with an incomplete character deny-list that omits semicolons and pipes before passing them to a grep command executed via exec(). An authenticated administrator can upload a MIB file with a crafted filename using tab characters to bypass the deny-list and pipe to sh via a multipart POST request to mibs.php, resulting in arbitrary OS command execution as the web server user.

CVE-2026-108047: Inadequate authorization vulnerability in Alosuite’s user invitation functionality

Inadequate authorization vulnerability in Alosuite’s user invitation functionality. The ‘/Requests/userInvitation’ endpoint does not properly validate the assignment of privileges on the server, allowing an attacker to manipulate the invitation parameters during the request process. By intercepting and modifying a legitimate invitation request, an unauthenticated attacker can assign administrative privileges to a newly invited user without the appropriate authorization checks. A successful exploit results in unauthorized privilege escalation, granting full administrative access to the affected application.

CVE-2026-121458: Instatic before 0.0.21 Authorization Bypass via MCP Content Read Tools

Instatic before 0.0.21 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in its AI/MCP content read tools that allows low-privileged authenticated users with ai.chat and content.edit.own capabilities to access data rows belonging to other users by calling content_get_document and content_list_documents without the object-level authorization checks enforced by the normal HTTP API. Attackers can use the MCP interface to retrieve private or unpublished draft content and enumerate rows from the posts system table, resulting in cross-user data disclosure.

CVE-2026-99270: tcp: Fix potential UAF in reqsk_timer_handler().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: Fix potential UAF in reqsk_timer_handler(). When TCP socket migration fails at inet_ehash_insert() in reqsk_timer_handler(), we jump to the no_ownership: label and free the new reqsk immediately with __reqsk_free(). Thus, we must stop the new reqsk's timer before jumping to the label, but the timer might be missed since the cited commit, resulting in UAF. As we are in the original reqsk's timer context, we can safely call timer_delete_sync() for the new reqsk. Let's pass false to __inet_csk_reqsk_queue_drop() to stop the new reqsk's timer.

CVE-2026-76124: BuddyBoss App <= 3.2.1 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Arbitrary File Upload via Feedback Endpoint

The BuddyBoss App plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.1 via the send_feedback function. This is due to insufficient file type validation that relies solely on the client-supplied Content-Type header without server-side content inspection or extension validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. While uploaded files are deleted after email transmission, a race condition exists during SMTP execution that allows access to the file, and files persist indefinitely when wp_mail() fails.

CVE-2026-99269: sched_ext: Wait for SCX_OPSS_DISPATCHING before moving tasks off DSQs

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Wait for SCX_OPSS_DISPATCHING before moving tasks off DSQs A task can be found on a non-local DSQ while the CPU which dispatched it is still running ops.dequeue() and hasn't cleared SCX_OPSS_DISPATCHING. It commits the number of bytes received so far. That does the job for a single buffer which is consumed as a whole, but the request hangs on to all it has mapped: - For a buffer ring with IOU_PBUF_RING_INC only these bytes are consumed. The rest of the buffer stays at the head of the ring. - For a bundle only the buffers which hold these bytes are consumed, the others that were peeked stay in the ring. In both cases the next receive with that buffer group gets memory that the retried request is still going to write to, and whoever comes last overwrites the data of the other. What the retry fills isn't committed at all, as the buffer list isn't known any more at that point. So the kernel hands it out again later on, while the CQE tells the application that it was used, and for an incremental buffer that it is done with. The remainder can't be committed in advance: if the request ends up receiving less, there is no way to tell the application that more was consumed than the CQE accounts for. Complete the request with what it has got instead of retrying it. MSG_WAITALL is no longer honoured for receives into incremental buffers or multi buffer bundles, they can return a short count, with the request marked as failed like for other short MSG_WAITALL transfers.

CVE-2026-99246: tipc: protect node reset trace dump with node lock

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: protect node reset trace dump with node lock The tipc_node_reset_links trace event asks tipc_node_dump() to walk the node's link entries. Unlike the other node events that request link data, this event runs without the node lock. This permits bearer teardown to free a link while the trace callback is dumping it: CPU 0 CPU 1 trace_tipc_node_reset_links() tipc_node_dump() l = n->links[0].link tipc_node_write_lock() kfree(l) n->links[0].link = NULL tipc_node_write_unlock() tipc_link_dump(l) tipc_link_dump() then dereferences the stale pointer.
