A payload built from the `.constructor.constructor` chain compiles, without modification, to a live `Function` invocation in the emitted JavaScript, escaping any sandbox assumption around "Elo is a safe data/DSL language." ### Vulnerable sink and root cause Three interacting sites in `src/` produce the bug at commit `749af7b`: 1. **`src/transform.ts:144–158`** — the `member_access` handler allows access on types `any`, `object`, or `array` without filtering the property name. This is the only place an integrator could have plugged a denylist. 2. **`src/compilers/javascript.ts:210`** — the JS emitter writes `${objectExpr}.${ir.property}` verbatim into the output, so any property name that survives the transform step flows unescaped into emitted JavaScript. 3. **`src/parser.ts:163–170, 748–750`** — the parser accepts `constructor` (and other JS meta-property names) as an ordinary identifier, so `.constructor` clears type-checking without triggering any warning. Combined, the Elo expression `({}).constructor.constructor('…')()` compiles to a live `Function('…')()` call in the emitted JS, executing in the realm of whichever sink runs the compiled code. ### Attack surfaces All three surfaces share the same root cause (no denylist in `transform.ts`) and are addressed by the same one-file patch: | # | Entry point | Threat model | |---|---|---| | 1 | Browser playground — `https://elo-lang.org/try/?code=…&run=1` | **0-click XSS / account takeover** against elo-lang.org. `?run=1` triggers `setTimeout(() => this.run(), 100)` in `playground_controller.ts:531`; the server issues a 301 that preserves `?code=`. Any shared URL that contains a payload compromises the visitor's session on elo-lang.org. | | 2 | `bin/el…

CVE-2026-44266: Elo Ruby backend has Remote Code Execution via unescaped `#{...}` interpolation in emitted string literals and subtype-constraint labels

### Summary Elo's Ruby backend emits attacker-controlled text into Ruby double-quoted strings without escaping the `#` character. Because `#` begins Ruby's interpolation sequences — `#{expr}`, `#@ivar`, `#@@cvar`, `#$gvar` — and any expression wrapped in `#{...}` may use backticks for shell execution, an Elo program that contains a crafted string literal or a labelled subtype constraint compiles to Ruby that evaluates attacker-chosen Ruby, and through backticks runs attacker-chosen shell commands, at runtime. The same Elo source compiled to JavaScript, Python, or SQL is benign, so the bug also breaks the cross-target portability guarantee the rest of the compiler honours. ### Vulnerable sinks Two sinks exist in `src/compilers/ruby.ts` at commit `749af7b`: 1. **String-literal emitter — lines 180–184.** The emitter escapes backslash, double quote, and control characters, but not `#`. Any `#{...}` sequence in an Elo string literal flows straight into the emitted Ruby source. 2. **Labelled subtype-constraint branch — lines 405–412.** The error message passed to `p_fail(p, "...")` is wrapped in a Ruby double-quoted string with no escape pass at all. Because the parser at `src/parser.ts:1339–1348` accepts single-quoted Elo strings as constraint labels, a label such as `'#{` `` `id` `` `}'` flows unchanged into the emitted Ruby. ### Attack surfaces All three surfaces share the same root cause (the missing `#` escape in the Ruby double-quoted-string emission path) and are addressed by the same patch: | # | Entry point | Threat model | |---|---|---| | 1 | `/try` playground on elo-lang.org (Ruby target) | 0-click server-side RCE against elo-lang.org infrastructure from a shared PoC URL | | 2 | `bin/eloc -t ruby -x` on a CI or DevOps host | RCE on any host that passes Elo strings through the CLI | | 3 | Library API — `defaultFormats.elo.parse()` with a Ruby emission step | Ruby RCE for any downstream integrator using Elo as a rule engine, configuration DSL, or form builder DS…

CVE-2026-28336: SolarWinds Dameware Command Injection Vulnerability

SolarWinds Dameware was found to be affected by a command injection vulnerability that could lead to the compromise of the remotely controlled host. This is due to bpxp_image_field_update_on_user_activation() calling unlink() on a path built from visitor-supplied signup metadata with no realpath() resolution, no containment check against the profile-image directory and no extension allow-list. Submitting a zero-byte file with the 'field_N_hidden' parameter during registration makes the plugin store the raw value, which is then resolved against the document root when the pending signup is activated. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file (such as wp-config.php) is deleted. In versions 9.0.0 through 11.6.5, when an application uses parameterized prefix and rewritePrefix options to pin clients to a fixed upstream path, the plugin substitutes URL-decoded route parameters into rewritePrefix without re-encoding them. A parameter value that encodes a path separator together with a fragment or query delimiter therefore decodes into real separators and delimiters that inject extra upstream path segments and strip the mandatory suffix the rewritePrefix was meant to enforce, without using any dot-dot traversal. An unauthenticated remote attacker can use this to reach upstream locations outside the intended prefix, leading to path-restriction bypass and, depending on the upstream, server-side request forgery or authorization bypass in the proxied service. The issue is fixed in @fastify/http-proxy 11.6.6, and users should upgrade to 11.6.6 or later. There is no workaround other than upgrading.

CVE-2025-11969: Broken Access Control via System REST APIs in Multiple WSO2 Products Allows Unauthorized Administrative Actions

The System REST APIs do not correctly enforce access control mechanisms, allowing users with lower privilege roles to execute administrative actions that should be restricted. The feature is documented as isolation for untrusted code, including LLM-written UI. From prefab-ui 0.14.0 through 0.20.2 the launcher starts Deno with unrestricted --allow-read, --allow-write, and --allow-net, and the runner leaves the Deno API on the JavaScript global object. Pyodide's js module proxies that global, so the Python can call Deno.readTextFileSync and Deno.writeTextFileSync. A caller who can supply the code can read and write files as the server OS user, and can persist code execution by writing a .pth file into the server virtualenv's site-packages. The usual remote path is FastMCP's GenerativeUI provider, which registers the MCP tool generate_prefab_ui and forwards that tool's code argument into this sandbox. On a FastMCP server with no authentication configured, any client who can reach the server can call the tool. With authentication, any client allowed to call tools can. Generative UI is opt-in, and the host must have Deno installed. Confirmed on prefab-ui 0.20.2. Fixed in 0.21.0: after the runtime and Prefab sources load, the runner revokes Deno read, write, and network permission before it accepts code, the process is started with --no-prompt so a permission request cannot grant them again, and bootstrap network access is limited to cdn.jsdelivr.net. The fix is commit 030f074 (pull request 538).

CVE-2026-62048: WordPress BookIt plugin <= 2.6.0.6 - SQL Injection vulnerability

Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in Liquid Web / StellarWP BookIt bookit allows SQL Injection. This issue affects BookIt: from n/a through 2.6.0.6.

CVE-2026-120231: WAVLINK WN553X1-B OpenVPN CLI ioos sub_416568 os command injection

A vulnerability was determined in WAVLINK WN553X1-B V260403_2.0.0. The worker image sets BUILDAH_ISOLATION=chroot, and no buildah invocation passes --isolation, so the step only changes its filesystem root. It keeps the worker pod's PID, network, IPC, and user namespaces, runs as uid 0, and holds CAP_DAC_OVERRIDE. PID 1 in that procfs is the worker entrypoint, so /proc/1/root is the worker container's filesystem and is writable. That filesystem contains the runc, buildah, and runsc binaries the worker uses to start tenant containers, the worker's Kubernetes service account token, and the host directories mounted into the pod. Worker pods are privileged. Clip v2 layered builds are the default, so a tenant with a workspace token reaches this by submitting one image build. The read-only proof confirmed the shared namespaces, CAP_DAC_OVERRIDE, and that the worker's runc binary is visible at /proc/1/root. Fixed in worker 0.1.756: Buildah RUN steps, including the WORKDIR mkdir, use OCI isolation with private PID, IPC, and network namespaces, and tenant ARG values are passed only into the build container.

CVE-2026-120307: Beta9 container escape via unvalidated sandbox file paths

The Beta9 worker serves the sandbox file API from outside the container. getHostPathFromContainerPath turns the tenant's container path into a worker path. If the unresolved path starts with a mount destination, including the default upload mount at /tmp/.beta9, the remainder is joined onto that mount's source with filepath.Join, which cleans parent-directory segments after the prefix check. A long enough run of those segments names any absolute path on the worker. A path that matches no mount is joined onto the container root and opened in the worker's own filesystem, so an absolute symbolic link such as /var/run pointing at /run is followed against the worker root. Upload, download, stat, list, find-in-files, replace-in-files, and delete-file all call this helper. A tenant with a workspace token and one running sandbox can read, write, list, and delete files on the hosting worker as root, including files of other tenants on that machine. A read-only proof downloaded the worker pod's Kubernetes service account token through the file API for a path that did not exist inside the sandbox. In the shipped remote-node manifests that service account is bound to cluster-admin. Fixed in worker 0.1.756: sandbox file operations and workspace sync open paths with os.OpenRoot, so parent-directory and symlink lookups stay inside the container root or the mount source.

CVE-2026-120227: WAVLINK WN701AE ioos Web Backend static_route_setting.sh del_staticrule os command injection

A vulnerability was detected in WAVLINK WN701AE M01AE_V260105. The gateway builds the host path by joining the shared volumes root, the workspace name, and the volume identifier from the stub configuration. Nothing checks that the identifier names a volume that workspace owns. Parent-directory segments in the identifier collapse the joined path to the worker's filesystem root, and the worker bind-mounts that path into the sandbox read-write unless the volume was explicitly marked read-only. A tenant with a workspace token can therefore read and write the worker's files, including other tenants' volumes stored on that machine. Confirmed against gateway 0.1.769 and worker 0.1.745. Fixed in gateway 0.1.776 and worker 0.1.756: volume identifiers and mount paths are validated before a mount is built, including for stubs saved before the check existed, and the gateway rejects a volume that does not exist or is not owned by the workspace.

CVE-2026-120225: Oray Pugongying X5 Pro openwrt_release config_restore_ex path traversal

A weakness has been identified in Oray Pugongying X5 Pro up to 7.6.1. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. The only access control is a nonce that is printed into every public form's data-nonce attribute, making it trivially obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor on a page embedding the form shortcode.

CVE-2026-103882: Acadlix LMS <= 1.1.9 - Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Deletion via 'delete_file_data.file_path' Parameter

The Acadlix LMS – AI Quiz Maker, Online Exam & Course Plugin for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the post_delete_assessment_file_by_id function in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.9. This is due to a parser-differential flaw in which the plugin's account-verification gate resolves the submitted `email` value using the raw, unsanitized string passed to `get_user_by()`, while the subsequent `wp_signon()` call relies on WordPress core's internal `sanitize_user()` to strip appended junk characters — causing the gate lookup to fail and be skipped entirely while the real account is still resolved and authenticated. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in to unverified or administrator-suspended accounts whose credentials they already possess, obtaining a valid `wordpress_logged_in` session cookie and defeating the plugin's account-approval and account-suspension controls. The nonce required to reach the handler is freely obtainable in the same request from the unauthenticated `ult-refresh-nonce` endpoint, making exploitation trivial for any attacker with network access to the site and knowledge of a target account's credentials.

CVE-2026-116512: Project Manager <= 4.1.1 - Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution via 'id' Parameter Function Injection

The Project Manager – AI Powered Project Management, Task Management, Kanban Board & Time Tracker plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.1 via the 'id' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. This is exploitable by unauthenticated attackers because WordPress core executes the route argument's validate_callback inside WP_REST_Server::dispatch() before the route's permission_callback is invoked, meaning the Project_Manage_Capability authorization gate is never reached on the vulnerable code path.

CVE-2026-89270: Popup Builder <= 4.4.5 - Missing Authorization to Unauthenticated Arbitrary Popup Post Trashing via 'post_type' and 'sg_popup_preview_id' Parameters

The Popup Builder – Create highly converting, mobile friendly marketing popups. plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.4.5 This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger the vulnerable code path on a default install by placing an anonymous WooCommerce checkout via the public Store API (POST /wc/store/v1/checkout) using a Direct Bank Transfer or cheque payment method, which automatically transitions the order to 'on-hold' status and fires the plugin's invoice-generation hook.

CVE-2026-117656: Unverified Sign in with Apple callback parameter can override verified ID token claims

Acceptance of Extraneous Untrusted Data With Trusted Data vulnerability in the Sign in with Apple strategy in pow-auth Assent allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to impersonate another user via the user parameter of the authorization callback. Prior to 3.0.1-beta, `POST /api/auth/setup` in `src/api/routers/auth.py` allows an unauthenticated network attacker to create the first administrator account before the legitimate owner completes initial setup. The `initial_setup` function checks only the `is_setup` completion flag and requires no authentication, one-time bootstrap token, or network restriction. The default `docker-compose.yml` publishes port 8001 on all interfaces, the `Dockerfile` starts the listener on 0.0.0.0, and `src/api/main.py` mounts the authentication router without a global authentication guard. The endpoint invokes `create_auth_user` with `UserRole.ADMIN` and `set_auth_cookie`, issuing a valid `fctr_session` JWT cookie. Localhost-only CORS rules do not restrict non-browser HTTP clients, and the setup operation does not require access to a real Okta tenant. The attacker becomes the sole administrator and prevents legitimate first-run setup, can read Okta-synced user data, API tokens, chat history, and application configuration, modify users and Okta integration credentials, and lock out administrators or disable the service. Already completed setup is rejected. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.1-beta.

CVE-2026-62863: MoLing: unauthenticated SSE and wildcard CORS expose tool sessions

MoLing is a computer-use and browser-use based MCP server. Prior to 0.5.0, when MoLing runs in SSE mode using `-l`, its `/sse` and `/message` HTTP endpoints do not authenticate requests and the `mcp-go` dependency sets `Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *`. A malicious web page can open a cross-origin `EventSource` to `/sse`, including a loopback listener, and read the `endpoint` event to obtain `sessionId`. After a victim running SSE mode visits that page, the attacker can use the disclosed `sessionId` against `/message` to send unauthorized MCP tool calls. Depending on the configured tools, those calls can read or write local files, execute commands or perform other actions. Binding only to loopback does not prevent this browser-mediated attack. From 0.6.0 until 1.8.14, 1.9.9, and 1.10.8, two authorization flaws in the `project-scoped RBAC API` let an authenticated user with delegated permission to manage a Project's `Roles` or `ServiceAccounts` confer permissions exceeding the user's own. A user authorized to edit `Roles` can create, replace, or add rules granting permissions not held by the user; a user authorized to edit a Role's ServiceAccount can bind an identity, including the user's own, to a more powerful Role. A Kargo Role comprises a `ServiceAccount, Role, and RoleBinding` in the Project namespace. Changes are written using the API server's broadly privileged credentials after only a coarse resource-kind edit check, rather than checking each permission being conferred. This permits escalation to Project-administrator access, disclosure of `Project Secrets` and credentials, and modification or deletion of Project resources. Stolen Git, container-registry, or Helm-registry credentials can extend confidentiality and integrity impacts to those external systems. Escalation remains limited to Projects where the attacker already has RBAC-management delegation and does not itself grant cluster-wide or cross-Project access. Default non-administrator roles do not permit these operations; exploitation requires an `administrator-created custom role` granting the relevant permissions and control of an account assigned that role. This issue is fixed in versions 1.8.14, 1.9.9, and 1.10.8.

CVE-2026-55598: PinePods: Authenticated SSRF via podcast RSS enclosure URL (server-side fetch of attacker-controlled URL, no host validation)

PinePods is a complete, self-hosted podcast management system written in Rust. Prior to 0.9.0, an authenticated user can subscribe to an attacker-controlled RSS feed through `POST /api/data/add_podcast` in `rust-api/src/handlers/podcasts.rs`. `get_podcast_values` and `add_episodes` in `rust-api/src/database.rs` parse the feed with `feed-rs` and store the `<enclosure url>` verbatim in `Episodes.episodeurl` without destination host/IP validation. `POST /api/data/download_podcast` invokes `spawn_download_podcast_episode` and `download_episode_and_wait()` in `rust-api/src/services/tasks.rs`, which sends a `reqwest` GET to the stored URL and saves and records the response in `DownloadedEpisodes` for later retrieval. The `estimate_duration_from_audio_url_async()` path in `rust-api/src/database.rs` also sends an unvalidated HEAD during feed add/refresh. Default redirect following permits an initially external enclosure URL to redirect to an internal target. A low-privilege user can make server-side GET/HEAD requests to reachable loopback, private-network and cloud metadata services and read downloaded internal responses, enabling internal-service enumeration, confidential-data disclosure and possible metadata credential theft. Episode downloading requires server downloads to be enabled, which is the default; self-service signup is supported. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.0.

CVE-2026-61620: HoneySQL unchecked entity names can lead to SQL injection results

HoneySQL turns Clojure data structures into SQL. From 2.0.0 until 2.7.1392, applications that pass user input or other arbitrary data into the HoneySQL `DSL` by calling `keyword` or `symbol` on that input can produce SQL strings that facilitate SQL injection when executed unchanged by a `JDBC` driver. Some formatters do not apply the existing suspicious-character check to the resulting entity names. The impact depends on the privileges of the database connection executing the generated statement. Input validation before constructing `keyword` or `symbol` entities is a workaround. The maintainer-designated fixed version is 2.7.1392.

CVE-2026-116241: pgAdmin 4: Import/Export Data query export runs a command through a backslash in a double-quoted identifier

pgAdmin 4's Import/Export Data tool wraps a user's query export in a psql \copy (...) TO command and checks that the query's parentheses are balanced so that nothing can escape the wrapper. The check rejected a backslash inside a single-quoted string, but not inside a double-quoted identifier, where it treated the next double quote as closing the identifier. psql's \copy parser applies the connection's escape character to whichever quote opened a token, so with standard_conforming_strings off a backslash-escaped double quote does not close the identifier. pgAdmin's and psql's view of the quoting then diverged, a closing parenthesis hidden from the check ended the \copy (...) wrapper, and a following TO PROGRAM clause was executed by psql on the pgAdmin host, as the operating-system account running pgAdmin, before the server rejected the statement. An ordinary database role can turn standard_conforming_strings off for itself, and the Import/Export Data permission is granted to non-administrators by default. This is a bypass of the fix for CVE-2026-17566. The fix rejects any backslash inside a double-quoted identifier, as was already done for single-quoted strings, since its meaning depends on a server setting that cannot be known reliably when the query is validated. This issue affects pgAdmin 4: before 9.19.

CVE-2026-116852: WordPress Widget Options plugin <= 4.2.5 - Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability

Author Remote Code Execution (RCE) in Widget Options <= 4.2.5 versions.

CVE-2026-39738: WordPress FunnelKit Automations plugin <= 3.8.6.1 - PHP Object Injection vulnerability

Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Aman FunnelKit Automations wp-marketing-automations allows Object Injection. This issue affects FunnelKit Automations: from n/a through 3.8.6.1.

CVE-2026-118697: In JetBrains Toolbox App before 3.9.1 and 3.8.2; IntelliJ IDEA before 2026.3 and 2026.2.4, the jetbrainsd daemon trusted compromised intermediate cert

In JetBrains Toolbox App before 3.9.1 and 3.8.2; IntelliJ IDEA before 2026.3 and 2026.2.4, the jetbrainsd daemon trusted compromised intermediate certificates

CVE-2026-112816: Improper certificate validation in the HTTPS listener in LXD

Improper certificate validation in the HTTPS listener in Canonical LXD 4.0.14, 5.0.10, 5.21.8, 6.9 before 4.0.15, 5.0.11, 5.21.9, 6.10.1 allows an unauthenticated attacker to authenticate as any trusted client and gain full access to the cluster and managed virtual machines via a crafted certificate chain.

CVE-2026-119706: LMDeploy 0.9.0 through 0.18.0 Unauthenticated RCE via /update_weights Pickle Deserialization

InternLM LMDeploy 0.9.0 through 0.18.0 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability that allows remote attackers to run OS commands by sending pickled data to the /update_weights endpoint.
