An authorization issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An attacker with the legacy VNC password for Screen Sharing may be able to copy files to the Mac.

Remediation

1. Inventory every Apple macOS deployment, including staging.
2. Upgrade Apple macOS to the fixed version for your release line, listed under Affected versions.
3. Confirm the running version after the upgrade.
