Firmware verification vulnerability

Summary

A firmware verification vulnerability in Creative Sound Blaster Katana could allow an attacker to modify a legitimate firmware image and upload the modified firmware to an affected device.

Remediation

1. Inventory every Creative Labs Creative Sound Blaster Katana V2, V2X, SE deployment, including staging.
2. No fixed version appears in the public sources yet. Check the references below and the vendor directly.
